Post "Infirmary, RFSM Marsens - Unit Aubépine" at RFSM - Frebourgeois mental health network, Marsens (FR). The RFSM is the mental health centre of the canton of Fribourg: adult psychiatry, children/adolescents, elderly people, addictions.

Who are we?

The Friburg Network for Mental Health (RFSM) is attached to the Directorate of Health and Social Affairs (DSAS). The RFSM is a centre of medical, nursing and psychosocial skills specialized in mental health.

The Aubépine unit is a hospital unit on the Marsens site. It accommodates elderly people with mental health, including major neurocognitive disorders (demences). People in crisis and/or decompensated SCPDs come there for a check-up leading to a diagnosis, an adaptation of medication treatment or a period of observation with a view to a reorientation in a place of life adapted to their needs.

Your missions

• Basic/nursing, Somatic/Medical/Delegated Care
• Good knowledge in the area of care for the elderly, dementia and decompensated SCPD
• Participation in the clinical activity of the service (following care processes aimed at the quality of life of the person, taking into account their values, in collaboration with the family)
• Clinical assessment of mental state-physical examination
• Analysis of professional practices, support for quality and continuity

Profile desired

Trade requirements

• Experience in the field of the elderly (Geriatrics)
• Two-year hospital work experience with the elderly person affected in their mental health would be an asset
• Knowledge of non-drug approaches
• Knowledge of the health and social network
• Knowledge of Clinical Nursing Assessment
• Mastery of common computer tools
• Adherence to RFSM ethical principles
