Are you passionate about engineering, mechanical design and process optimization? Do you want to meet a concrete technical challenge in an international industrial environment? Join Liebherr Machines Bulle SA as a Young Talent – Engine Testing Standardization and take part in our engine development activities by actively contributing to the analysis, standardization and optimization of our test facilities and processes. We are looking for a candidate available from February 2027 for a 12-month internship. Your Responsibilities
- You analyze the existing instrumentation configurations and set standards for different engine families to improve the repeatability of the tests.
- You standardize the interfaces and connections of test benches to reduce installation times and optimize their preparation.
- You analyze transmission and coupling systems and identify opportunities for standardization and reduction of variants.
- You design and develop mechanical solutions using 3D CAD tools, from modelling to field implementation.
- You develop and harmonize the technical documentation (plans, drawings, nomenclatures and instructions) to ensure the reproducibility of the installations.
- You identify opportunities for continuous improvement, propose concrete solutions and measure their impact on the efficiency of engine testing.
- You coordinate the project activities with the technical teams, monitor the actions and present the results achieved. Your profile
- You have a higher technical background or have completed engineering studies in mechanics, electromechanical or similar fields.
- You master 3D CAD software and have good knowledge of mechanical design and technical standards.
- You have a strong interest in engines, test benches and field work.
- You are autonomous, organized, proactive and appreciate teamwork.
