This place of work opens in January 2027 and, as one of the most exciting multi-sector companies in Swiss gastronomy, comprises a free-flow restaurant with around 280 seats and a terrace with a further 120 seats, a bar, catering, seminar gastronomy and a hotel industry with around 168 rooms under one roof. The meeting place on the Murtensee in the heart of the Three Lakes region creates an inviting meeting place for various groups of guests. This also includes the event location CEL with 45,000 seminar guests every year. There, our team looks after various events – from banquets to summer parties and small celebrations to large events. Are you the experienced leader who from 01. January 2027 or by agreement the responsibility as Managing Director: takes over and professionally supports our team? Your tasks:

• Guidance and organisation of the gastronomy CEL in all areas: Seminar Gastronomy & Food, Restaurant & Bar, Catering & Events as well as Housekeeping / Accommodation (144 single, 24 double rooms)
• Performing the host role and first contact person (single point of contact) for the client SBB on site
• Acceptance, decision and implementation of guest needs and wishes
• Coordination of the interface to reception (SIHOT) and housekeeping as a link between the company, SBB and ZFV headquarters
• Ensuring ZFV quality and service standards
• Establishment of a new operating team as part of the takeover/opening of CEL (start 04.01.2027), including recruitment of management positions in cooperation with the People & Culture Department
• Cooperation in the tandem/coach model with the ZFV specialist coaches for service, kitchen and housekeeping in the initial phase Your profile:
• 10 -15 years of professional experience in gastronomy / hotel industry
• 5 years of management experience, ideally as manager
• Proven experience in banqueting, catering and seminar business (not just personnel restoration)
• Experience in the hotel industry / accommodation at least at interface level (front office / housekeeping)
• Opening or takeover experience is advantageous
• In-depth IT knowledge in MS-Office as well as in industry-specific systems (cash and goods management)
• Knowledge of the SIHOT hotel reservation system and reporting in the client model
• perfect oral and written knowledge of German
• Good knowledge of French desired (Bilingual Region Murten/Morat)
• Communicative skill and diplomatic sensitivity for cooperation with the management of CEL, the client SBB and partners: inside Our offer
