Introduction For our Production division, we are looking for a Cutting Tool Methods Technician (M/F) whose main mission will be to guarantee the qualification and provision of all cutting tools used for machining Box components.
- Introduction For our Production division, we are looking for a Cutting Tool Methods Technician (M/F) whose main mission will be to guarantee the qualification and provision of all cutting tools used for machining Box components.
- Define and make available the cutting tools necessary for the industrialization of new products and new machining means
- Maintain the technical link and proximity with suppliers in order to guarantee the performance of the tools
Main responsibilities
- Define and make available the cutting tools necessary for the industrialization of new products and new machining means
- Maintain the technical link and proximity with suppliers in order to guarantee the performance of the tools
- Sustain the know-how by ensuring the management and updating of technical data and associated documents (plans, reference reports and standardization)
- Pilot continuous improvement by identifying and carrying out optimization actions
- Ensure the role of technical respondent for cutting tools with internal and external partners
- Participate in technical exchanges with production to ensure support on cutting tools
- Ensure technological monitoring of cutting tools by participating in trade shows and regularly carrying out feasibility studies Profile
- CFC of polymechanic, ES Technician or equivalent
- Recognized skills in machining and management of cutting tools, with expertise on stainless steels and precious metals Mastery of software CAD/CAM (ideally CREO)
- Ability to work in a team with a taste for the field
