Head of Biomedical Service

80-100 %

Mission

• To lead and develop a team of committed biomedical technicians to serve patients. Through your leadership, you create an environment that fosters trust, accountability, skills building and continuous improvement, while ensuring effective organization of activities and the achievement of service objectives.
• Develop and develop HFR's medical device maintenance strategy
• Plan and pilot preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to ensure operational efficiency, availability, safety and compliance of equipment
• Supervising the portfolio of medical engineering facilities projects
• To plan for the re-use of facilities and to ensure technological monitoring to anticipate future innovations and technologies
• Conducting projects to integrate/install medical devices in partnership with the procurement department to reconcile clinical performance, innovation, life cycle management of equipment, park's standards and quality of services
• Monitoring of the biomedical park and service through performance, quality and cost indicators
• Shaping the quality strategy of biomedical service by reconciling operational excellence, regulatory compliance, risk management and value for money to build a service that is efficient, sustainable and ready to meet the technological challenges of tomorrow
• Bring your expertise to projects of construction, development, transformation of infrastructure and hospital organizations

Profile sought

• Training of biomedical engineer preferably, or in related disciplines (microtechnic, electronic, mechatronic, electrical engineering, industrial systems, DLK), or experience deemed equivalent
• Experience in hospitals or in the medical technology industry, an asset
• Experience in managing maintenance, after-sales service (SAV) or technical support activities, with steering of teams, providers and performance indicators
• Excellent analytical and synthesis capabilities to define priorities, make informed decisions and pilot structured action plans
• Resilience and ability to evolve in a demanding, complex and constantly changing hospital environment.
• Strong interest in technological innovations (artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, etc.) and motivation to contribute to the development of the biomedical of tomorrow.
• Experience confirmed in managing a technical team and/or leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Recognized leadership, ability to unite teams, develop skills and support organizational and technological change.
• Experience in conducting complex technical projects, from design to implementation.
• Mastery of French or German, with very good knowledge of the other language.
