Main responsibilities
- Clarification of persons about their need for assistance and protection based on received notifications to KESB Bern
- Accompanying and advising people in crisis sessions
- Seeking solutions within and outside of adult protection law, taking into account self-determination
- Providing and coordinating assistance and seeking appropriate subsidiary support measures
- Documenting cases and drafting clarification reports with recommendation of measures under adult protection law Requirements
- Studies in social work or equivalent degree
- Several years of professional experience in the social sector, preferably in the protection of adults Knowledge of social security
- High level of social, technical and advisory skills
