Role overview
- Support collaboration with partners by contributing to project administration and project management, including by producing applications, billing and reviewing reports.
- With a focus on West Africa/Sahel and Great Lakes, Horn of Africa and/or Southern Africa, conducting contextual and topical research, contributions to dossiers and speeches, and other tasks as needed.
- Administrative and logistical support of the Peace Africa and Mediation & Dialogue sections such as writing minutes of various meetings, and other tasks as needed.
- Support the preparation and implementation of internal and external events, peace process meetings or section courses.
- Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law or any other field related to international cooperation, or Bachelor’s degree with professional experience in international cooperation and/or project management.
- Excellent knowledge of French and English, very good knowledge of a second official language.
- Strong interest in project management and peace policy issues.
- Flexibility, excellent communication and editing skills, discretion, solution-oriented.
- Sense of organized work, ability to work on different tasks in parallel.
