Role overview
To allow family caregivers a period of rest, the UATRs offer AVS-age clients short stays and provide services in continuity with those provided at home.
Client care and support adapt to their physical and mental health.
The nurse works in interdisciplinarity from one of the 3 sites ( either: Mervelet, Petit-Saconnex or Villereuse Geneva 1207 or Twins, Thônex), respecting the mission and objectives of the institution and may be required to intervene occasionally also on the other two sites.

- Deliver comprehensive, preventive, curative, educational and palliative personalized nursing care to AVS-age clients independently and/or on medical delegation
Main responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive, preventive, curative, educational and palliative personalized nursing care to AVS-age clients independently and/or on medical delegation
- Perform a situational referent role, on a daily basis, in order to adjust the care of the client according to his needs and acting in accordance with the principles of the professional code of ethics nurse
- Organize medico-social approaches, coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders in a given client situation by mobilizing all available resources (both primary and professional)
- Work closely with ASSCs and caregivers by delegating care from their area of expertise
- Provide written and oral transmissions of accompanying customer information to enable follow-up and continuity in client care
- Participate in training and research activities within the objectives defined by the Professional Practices Directorate.
- Bachelor of nursing or equivalent training, authorization of practice in the canton
- Minimum two years of professional experience in the geriatric community Knowledge of the Geneva care network Desired psycho-geriatric experience
- Ability to work independently and as an interdisciplinary team Excellent adaptability and delegation
