- Emphasis of in-company training lies in the specialist department, where subjects are partly supervised (literary selection and analysis, training and consultations, etc.) as well as in project work, which includes various activities related to academic library work.
- Trainees can set their own priorities.
- In addition, the trainees go through the departments of media processing (acquisition, formalization), e-library and open science, use (borrowing, interlibrary loan) and the Center Historical Stocks.
- The degree program concludes with the Master of Advanced Studies UZH in Library and Information Sciences. Requirements
- completed university degree (minimum level Master)
- Great interest in information and web technologies and scientific information
- practical experience or internship in an information and documentation facility
- Familiarity with the profession Scientific/r librarian/in
- Good general education, language skills (English)
