Application process

- You will learn under expert guidance the management of medical devices, including instruments and apparatus for surgical procedures, diagnostic applications and general care
- You are responsible for cleaning and disinfecting these medical devices
- You compile medical devices according to standardized lists
- You take care of their sterilization and packaging and carry out functional and cleanliness tests
- You operate various apparatus such as cleaning, disinfection equipment, autoclaves or sealing equipment Your training path
- 3-year full-time education and qualification with Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ)
- Vocational School (Careum Education Center) and the intercompany courses (OdA Health) take place in Zurich
