Main responsibilities
- Practical insights into the retail business with focus on customers, assortments, presentation of goods and promotions.
- Understanding central interface areas such as supply chain management, logistics, creditors and customer service.
- Development of in-depth expertise in category management – from product range and price to promotions and key figures and market analyses.
- Collaboration in various category areas to develop a broad understanding of different market and range logics.
- Assuming initial tasks, reflecting on your own insights in transfer orders and preparing for an entry-level function in category management. Requirements
- Completed studies (university or technical college) or alternatively first professional experience in purchasing, product management, category management or in a comparable analytical-commercial function
- Negotiable knowledge of German and English; Other foreign languages are beneficial
