Full description
Portrait The Rossfeld Foundation offers schools, residential groups and therapy for children and adolescents with a physical disability who are capable of normal education. In the Canton of Bern, we are the only competence centre for children and young people with physical disabilities in the regular school sector.
All trainees take part in our internal internship training and are personally accompanied by the management of the residential group.
Tasks
You will
- assist in socio-pedagogical and curative promotion
- Caring for, accompaniment and promotion of children and young people and providing support in everyday school life
- Work assignments according to a fixed work schedule (no weekend services)
- Parents and household tasks
- Participation in team meetings
Requirements
You bring with you
- at least 18 years old
- preferably secondary education or training with EFZ
- Interest in training in socio-pedagogical or similar fields
- Natural skill in dealing with children and young people
- Flexibility and simplicity
- Joy of teamwork
- Resilience and conscientiousness
