VZ is the leading independent financial services provider in Switzerland. The approximately 30 experts in the field of business succession accompany our customers in the transfer of their company and carry out numerous corporate transactions every year (M&A, MBI, MBO and FBO). For the expansion of our succession department in the heart of Bern, we are looking for a committed personality in the area of corporate succession / M&A with a focus on external corporate transactions.
- Independent support and implementation of external company transactions in the Berne region (target segment: SMEs with a transaction sum of 1 – 50 million).
- Analyze company documents, create company valuations and company documentation.
- Research and address of potential buyers.
- Negotiation up to civil and tax implementation (signing / closing).
- Acquisition of new successor mandates.
- Coordination and situational involvement of internal experts (taxes, law, auditing, financing, financial planning, provision) to ensure holistic and customer-oriented implementation.
- Professional experience in business succession / M&A (ideally 5 years+)
- Completed studies at an FH/uni or equivalent further education (dipl. trust expert, dipl.) Accountant/in or similar
- Empathy, a solution-oriented way of thinking and negotiating skills
- Ability to convince customers of you as a project manager and win exciting sales mandates
- Joy of contact with different stakeholders and enthusiasm for the world of Swiss SMEs
- Analytical thinking and ability to understand complex relationships
- Negotiation-proof communication in German, further negotiation-proof language skills (into English) are advantageous
- Regional anchoring and motivation to expand and further develop the successor department in Bern and at the current locations Burgdorf, Thun and Solothurn

Requirements
- Berufserfahrung im Bereich Unternehmensnachfolge / M&A (idealerweise 2 Jahre+)
- Abgeschlossenes Studium an einer FH/Uni oder gleichwertige Weiterbildung (dipl. Treuhandexperte/Treuhandexpertin, dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer/-in o.ä.)
- Empathie, eine lösungsorientierte Denkweise sowie Verhandlungsgeschick
- Fähigkeit, Kunden von dir als Projektleiter zu überzeugen und spannende Verkaufsmandate zu gewinnen
- Freude am Kontakt mit unterschiedlichen Anspruchsgruppen und Begeisterung für die Welt der Schweizer KMU
- Analytische Denkweise und Fähigkeit, komplexe Zusammenhänge verständlich darzustellen
- Verhandlungssichere Kommunikation auf Deutsch, weitere verhandlungssichere Sprachkenntnisse (ins. Englisch) sind von Vorteil
- Regionale Verankerung und Motivation, die Nachfolgeabteilung in Bern und an den heutigen Standorten Burgdorf, Thun und Solothurn auszubauen und weiterzuentwickeln
