Portrait The school Manuel is a managed quarter school (Schulkreis Kirchenfeld-Schosshalde) of the city of Bern. From the summer of 2026, the school will lead 46 classes from kindergarten to 9. School year with about 900 children and adolescents and 130 employees. The school location Manuel includes the school complex Manuel, the Wittigkofen School House, the Elfenau Quarter School House, the Kirchenfeld full-day base level and day care.
Tasks
As a deputy class teacher, you teach the subjects NMG, Mathematics, French, BG, BS, German in a third class amounting to 18 lessons. In addition, you engage with another hour in team teaching in the same class.
With pleasure, high level of expertise and tangible commitment, you design a varied, motivating lesson. They accompany the students attentively in their personal and school development and create learning spaces in which curiosity, trust and learning pleasure can grow.
The close, appreciative cooperation with the specialist teachers as well as with the parents is a matter of course for you and is experienced by you as an enrichment. With openness and creativity, you are actively involved in school life, participate in projects and events and contribute actively to the further development of our school.
Requirements
You have a seminary primary teaching patent or a bachelor's degree for the primary level and ideally bring experience in cycle 2.
