Portrait At the four schools in Ostermundigen, around 1,800 students are taught by more than 300 teachers. On the Rothus school complex, the 5th school in the municipality of Ostermundigen is opened.
We search from February, at the latest from 1. August 2027 for the new school Rothus
Tasks
From the school year 2027/28 onwards, the Rothus school comprises 12 classes in cycle 3, including a class for special promotion. The plant is currently being extensively renovated and supplemented by a modern new building. The historical part is carefully restored and equipped with contemporary learning rooms such as groups and specialist rooms. The school commission has chosen the project manager, who is currently preparing the commissioning of Rothu and is supported by a project team. The project manager has also been elected as new school director Rothus. The Rothus School will include a school social worker. A school secretary will assist the school management in administrative work.
You are involved in the professional, personnel and pedagogical management of the Rothus School. In doing so, you accompany teachers and pupils as they move into the new school building and promote the team building of the newly formed college. Together with the Principal, you ensure smooth school operation and are actively involved in securing and continuously developing school quality.

You have experience as a teacher or ideally already as a school board member. Changes and the unforeseen are met with serenity, flexibility and a solution-oriented attitude. With your appreciative communication, your empathy and your ability to assert yourself, you contribute to the newly formed College growing together into a strong team. The workload can be increased with teaching activity at the school from August 2027.
The School Commission will elect the Stv. Head of School on 9 December 2026. The interviews will take place between 16 and 18. November 2026.
