The restaurant in the Haus der Universität belongs to the gastronomy of the University of Bern. The operation in a venerable villa serves as a representative center for meetings, events, seminars and personal celebrations. True to the ZFV philosophy, freshly cooked locally with regional and ecologically well-produced and fair trade food. Are you our new team member who supports us as a service employee:in (20%) immediately or by appointment? We are looking for you as a helper in an approximately 20% amount. In high season you will be used 3x per week in the evening and about 2x per month on weekends. Otherwise, the regulated working hours are from 07:00 to 17:00, 10:00 to 18:30 or from 14:00 to 23:30. Your area of activity:
- Welcome and Guest Advice
- Banquet service (apéros, flying buffets, gala dinner, standing lunch, etc.)
- À la carte service with debt collection
- Creating the Mise en Place
- Cash register operation
- Ensuring an attractive presentation of goods
- Participation in training and meetings
- Collaboration in the kitchen and on the Plonge
- Support in other establishments
- Completion of general clean-up and cleaning work
- Implementation of ZFV quality and service standards
- Compliance and implementation of the hygiene and safety guidelines Your strengths:
- Completed basic training as restoration specialist:man: EFZ
- Experience & expertise in gastronomy in the field of service & cuisine of advantage (3 plates of service, wine service etc.)
- Good oral and written knowledge of German
