You combine quantitative depth with practical market understanding and develop robust risk and valuation models for trading, assets and group-wide risk topics in the dynamic energy and commodity environment.
Your field of activity
- You will develop quantitative risk and valuation models for asset, trading and sales portfolios as well as group-wide risk topics.
- The modeling of electricity, gas and other commodity markets as well as the further development of stochastic valuation and risk models are part of your central area of responsibility.
- Regular calibrations, backtesting and benchmarking are ensured with regard to model quality, transparency and traceability
- Together with trading, origination, analysis functions and other risk functions, you will work on market-based valuation and risk approaches for complex market positions.
- Prepare quantitative insights for risk committees, management committees and other stakeholders
- Building scalable and maintainable modeling, data and reporting solutions supports the further development of our technological environment
You bring that with you
- Several years of experience in quantitative modeling, risk management or commodity trading in the energy environment form the basis for your professional contribution
- You have developed, implemented and developed risk, pricing or valuation models yourself in a market environment with high dynamics
- Complex relationships in energy and commodity markets can be analyzed in a structured and understandable way
- Very good knowledge of Python, SQL and modern analytical working methods help you to implement quantitative solutions efficiently and comprehensibly
- You approach changes in technologies, processes or working methods openly and pragmatically advance quantitative topics
- The exchange with different specialist areas is easy for you and you move safely between technical questions and business perspectives
