Take part in one of Switzerland's largest urban development projects: With the development of the district of Viererfeld / Mittelfeld, the city of Bern is implementing an urban lighthouse project on its own land – a new city district that will shape living, working and living in Bern in a sustainable way. For the team Quartierentwicklung Viererfeld / Mittelfeld at Immobilien Stadt Bern we are looking for a committed person who takes responsibility as owner representation:
Tasks
- You are responsible for the topics of use and operation in the new city district within the responsibility of Immobilien Stadt Bern [e.g. commercial and communal areas, open spaces, neighbourhood life].
- You continue to develop the operating and usage concept, take into account economic, social and ecological aspects and accompany the implementation.
- You represent the interests of the city of Bern as a landowner towards all participants and in the overall project management team.
- You form the interface with the infrastructure cooperative that operates the joint infrastructure offering of the district and actively shape the cooperation with it and its management.
- You will bring in your expertise to make planning a functioning, attractive and sustainable neighborhood.
- You will prepare the basis for decision and prepare applications and opinions for commissions, municipal council and city council.
Requirements
- You have completed a university or technical college degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. architecture, real estate economics, civil engineering) and have several years of professional experience in the planning, construction or real estate sector.
- You have experience in strategic or operational facility management and have led subprojects or complex projects.
- You work structured, precise and solution-oriented, negotiate skillfully and bring together different interests.
- You'll certainly communicate in word and writing and write motions and reports.
- You deal with the stakeholders in a customer- and service-oriented manner.
- You understand political processes and public decision-making structures.
