Role overview

National purchasing in the catering and baked goods/convenience sectors ensures a diverse and high-quality offering for Migros catering and supermarkets.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensuring communication in the procurement process, especially between suppliers and cooperatives as well as internal departments
  • Participation in the procurement process/master data management, especially item and supplier opening, price mutations, logistics routes and delivery conditions
  • Preparation of evaluations and statistics for decision-making
  • Planning of meetings and events and their preparation including creation of presentations Monitoring and maintaining data quality

Key requirements

  • First professional experience: in procurement/purchasing, an advantage in the catering and/or retail industry
  • Completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ): commercial training, preferably in the area of food purchasing, catering and/or retail
  • Very good MS Office and SAP knowledge combined with a high affinity for IT systems
  • Confident dealing with various stakeholders, as well as good oral and written expression skills
  • Flexible, service-oriented and resilient personality with an independent, careful way of working German (fluent)
