Main responsibilities
- Project management and research:
- You support as an expert:in the field of evidence and impact measurement in the following areas:in the field of R & D
- You accompany our partner organisation in the design and implementation of causal impact studies
- You first outline the state of research on relevant topics of the ZCED Out Access and Science Communication:
- You first use communication materials such as policy letters, media articles and reports for decision makers:in and the interested public.
- You plan and organize public lectures and other events of the Centre
- You design and lead workshops on the topic of evidence and impact measurement Structure and further development of the Centre:
- You actively participate in the structural structure and strategic development of the Centre
- You contribute to the maintenance and expansion of the network in politics, business and society

- You engage in the acquisition of new projects and prepare research and funding applications for requirements: Requires: Joy and a strong interest in
- practice The research is based on the results of research and the combination of scientific evidence with politics and practice.
- Curiosity and knowledge of methods for measuring effects, e.g.
- through experience in research or practice (Public Policy)
- University degree or PhD in economics or other quantitative social sciences, ideally with focus or proven knowledge in development economics and/or public policy
- Knowledge of the state of research in development economics and the international leading research actors in this field or the willingness to develop this knowledge quickly
Company and context
- Self-initiative, reliability and very good organizational skills
- Enjoy participating in a small, growing team in building up,
- to design structures together, to manage several projects in parallel and to live an open learning and error culture.
- A knowledge of German and English in word and writing (working and publishing languages) But no plus is required: •37% work experience at the interface between research and practice
- knowledge of Swiss political structures and institutions
- experience in conducting research projects, ideally in the context of developmental economics
