Actively shape the strategic container management platform of the Federal Administration. In a dedicated engineering and operations team, you will develop highly available, secure and scalable platform services based on RedHat OpenShift and leverage your expertise in Kubernetes, automation, GitOps and cloud native engineering.

- Design, operate and continuously develop highly available and business-critical Kubernetes clusters based on RedHat OpenShift as part of the lifecycle
- Automate infrastructure, platform services and operational processes with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code and integrate them into network, storage and security architectures
- Design, integrate and further develop new platform functions such as Service Mesh, eBPF, Hosted Control Planes, GPU technologies, self-service and FinOps connections
- Expand observability, logging and security capabilities, validate platform capabilities with performance and regression tests and keep technical concepts up-to-date
- Analyse and resolve disruptions across the entire platform, advise partners and customers and ensure stable operation together with the team in the 7x24 Picettservice
This makes you unique
- Higher education in computer science (FH, BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience as well as several years of practice in platform engineering, operation and further development of container management environments
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes or RedHat OpenShift, Linux, CI/CD, GitOps and automation
- Experience with Go, Python, Bash, Ansible, ArgoCD, Tekton or similar tools
- Broad understanding of observability, virtualization, network, storage, security, interface integration and data center automation in the enterprise environment
- Experience with DevOps, service integration and ITIL processes
- Structured, independent working method with a high level of operational responsibility, enjoyment of complex technical challenges and safe handling of stakeholders
- Good knowledge of second official language and English
