Full description
The family practice Praxis à la Gare, centrally located at the Biel station in the MEDIN health centre, serves a catchment area with 70,000 inhabitants and 60,000 commuters. In addition to basic care, including a large laboratory and conventional X-ray, our practice offers quick access to a wide range of family medical services and emergency care (walk-in). Thanks to our close cooperation with the other MEDIN units at the site, we guarantee comprehensive medical care. Our multilingual family doctors also use an internal network to arrange special treatments such as nutritional advice, physiotherapy, radiology, gynecology or cardiology directly in the same building.
To strengthen our dedicated and dynamic team, we are looking for a motivated and reliable team immediately or by agreement.
Medical/practice assistant/EFZ 80-100 %
You do.
- Reception, care and administrative reception of our patients
- Appointments and coordination of office hours
- Ensuring a friendly and professional patient reception
- Support for administrative activities
- Performing medical activities such as blood sampling, infusions, dressing changes, pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic examinations
- Performance of ECGs, 24-hour blood pressure measurements and digital X-ray
- Cooperation in the in-house laboratory including sampling and preparation of external analyses
- Management of the practice pharmacy including ordering and warehouse management
- Shared responsibility for smooth and efficient practical operation

- Completed training as medical practice assistant EFZ or comparable training
- Professional experience in a medical practice or group practice is beneficial
- Very good language skills in German or French with good knowledge of the other language
- In-depth computer skills (experience with the practical software CuraMed is an advantage)
