The walk-in as part of the family practice Praxis à la Gare, centrally located at the Biel station in the MEDIN health centre, serves a catchment area with 70,000 inhabitants and 60,000 commuters. Our walk-in offers fast and low-threshold access to emergency care, with a large laboratory and conventional X-ray.
The Biel Hospital Center is the public center hospital of the bilingual Biel-Seeland-Berne Jura region. Are you interested in working alongside our 2,300 employees for the health of our population?

Specialist doctor in general or internal medicine (40–100%)
You do
- A varied medical activity with a lot of practical relevance in acute medicine, small surgery, traumatology, etc.;
- The independent care of patients who arrive spontaneously in the walk-in, in cooperation with a competent MPA team;
- A collaborative and interdisciplinary working environment with specialist support from numerous specialists from the MEDIN health centre in the same building
- This sets you apart
- You have a Federal Medical Diploma or an equivalent recognised foreign medical diploma;
- You ideally have several years of professional experience in Switzerland - also in the care of outpatients: inside;
- You are a communicative personality with high social skills and enjoy working in a small team;
- Ideally, you are bilingual (D/F) or interested in holding or developing speaking lessons in both languages
