The Biel Hospital Center is the public center hospital of the bilingual Biel-Seeland-Berne Jura region. Are you interested in working alongside our 2,000 employees for the health of our population?
The emergency department at the Biel Hospital Center is open to patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. About 27,000 patients are treated each year. The Emergency Department is SGNOR-recognized training institution of class 2 for the acquisition of specialization in clinical emergency medicine and for general internal medicine category IV outpatient. It also includes a modern emergency practice, which is operated by emergency personnel. We also train sonography abdomen and POCUS (thoracic, emergency onography, echocardiography) for the skills cards. In order to strengthen the medical team, we are looking for a person on 01.03.2027 or by agreement
Senior physician interdisciplinary emergency medicine 60-90 %

- Treatment of emergency patients in our lively and exciting emergency unit in the function as an emergency cadre physician
- Integration into the interdisciplinary emergency team consisting of emergency cadre physicians, rotational assistant physicians and rotational senior physicians, emergency care and sub-assistant physicians as well as specialists of various sub-specialties
- Assistance in the supervision, further education and supervision of assistant doctors

- Fluent language skills in German or French (word/script). Good knowledge of the other language at least level B1
