To strengthen our team, we are looking for 1. November 2026 or by appointment a committed personality as senior physician / senior physician orthopaedics / traumatology & sports medicine, who takes responsibility and wants to actively shape our clinic in the future.

At Spital Thun, the entire spectrum of orthopaedics/traumatology and sports medicine awaits you. Her responsibilities include the surgical care of the patients:innen (if necessary with the support of the leading doctors:innen) as well as the coverage of the consultation hours and the pikett services. They take on their own responsibility and with independent scope of action the care of patients: women with injuries and diseases of the entire musculoskeletal system. They actively participate in internal and external training events.

Their tasks

• Independent care of ambulatory and inpatient patients: inside
• Operational activity in the field of orthopaedics and traumatology according to your experience and specialization
• Participation in the traumatological service and in the care of emergency patients:

Become part of our team

• Specialist title Orthopaedic Surgery/Traumatology FMH or equivalent (or shortly before completion of training)
• A team-oriented personality with strong communication and cooperation skills for good interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
• High social skills, resilience, initiative and a sense of responsibility with great interest in traumatology
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least level C1)
