Medical genetics at a clinic where genetic diagnostics and counselling come together from the prenatal period to high adulthood. In Bern, we are looking for a senior physician or a senior physician for medical genetics in the amount of 80 – 100% by appointment. In a university clinic for human genetics with full training authorization of category A, you can expect an interdisciplinary, scientifically integrated environment with a broad diagnostic spectrum. This is what awaits you in this responsible task

• They look after outpatient patients in a lively consultation session across the entire spectrum of genetic diagnosis and counselling, from the prenatal period to late adulthood.
• They participate in several interdisciplinary special consultation hours, including together with cardiology, dermatology, nephrology, neurology and ophthalmology
• They take over the consiliar assessment and clarification of inpatients in the children's clinics as well as in the adult sector
• They work closely with the medical profession of the other hospitals of the hospital
• They are involved in scientific questions and university training

• Specialist title for medical genetics or equivalent foreign specialist title with federal recognition
• Ideally, several years of professional experience
• Interest in scientific questions and pleasure in personal training
• Very good knowledge of German
