In the function as a service physician, you are responsible for the care of the inpatient patients and for the initial assessment of the patients in our state-of-the-art emergency within the service offer (basic package / basic care) at night and on defined weekend days. They are responsible for the initial assessment and treatment of internist and surgical patients in cooperation with the internist medical team Zweisimmen and the surgical colleagues at the hospital location Thun. The close integration of emergency, inpatient and consiliary medicine ensures continuous, high-quality care of the entire treatment pathway.

In the professional development, the experienced cadre doctors are of course at the side. Participation in the well-paid specialist background services (readiness to call) is required.

Become part of our team

• Swiss diploma or recognised equivalent as a doctor (recognition by the Federal Office of Health or Medical Profession Commission MEBEKO)
• Specialist title for General Internal Medicine (Switzerland or EU/EFTA) with experience in clinical emergency medicine, interdisciplinary focus "Clinical emergency medicine SGNOR" desirable
• Joy and interest in a versatile activity in a wide range of treatments
• Clinical experience in emergency treatment of acute and subacute medical and surgical events
• High social skills, teamwork skills and a professional appearance
• Very good German skills in word and writing (minimum C1), foreign language skills are an advantage
