According to the cantonal performance contract, the psychiatry of the Emmental Hospital is responsible for providing the Emmental region (150'000 inhabitants) with the locations in Burgdorf and Langnau. To complement our team of the clinic for old-age psychiatry, we are looking for a:

Your tasks within the framework of team-oriented processes

• Conduct of the psychiatric consultation at the Langnau General Hospital
• Old-age psychiatric counselling at the hospital’s somatic wards
• Collaboration in the Memory Clinic (diagnostics, case discussions, interdisciplinary clarifications)
• If interested: Participation in the special session ADHD and ASD in adulthood
• Establishment and expansion of the regional outreach supply structure
• Interprofessional collaboration with care, therapies and somatic disciplines
• Participation in the integrated psychiatric emergency service

Your profile

• Specialist title Psychiatry and psychotherapy or shortly before graduation
• Interest in Age Psychiatry and Somato-Psychic Interactions
• ideally first experience in age psychiatry
• Consiliar psychiatric experience welcome
• Enjoying interdisciplinary cooperation and the further development of modern care offerings
• Sovereign appearance and a clear, structured and team-oriented way of working
