• Carry out maintenance, repair, modification and control work on all aircraft weapons systems and equipment

• Prepare the armament of aircraft and resolve disruptions to weapon systems

• Perform tasks related to flight operations, such as ensuring readiness, conducting intermediate checks and re-establishing systems

• Ensure resupply and testing of all types of ammunition for the aircraft

• Ensure maintenance of systems, tools and test equipment

This makes them unique.

• Completed technical/mechanical vocational training (EFZ) and/or knowledge in the field of weapon technology Generalist with relevant professional experience and affinity for aviation

• Category B mandatory, category C and E advantageous; good IT knowledge (MS Office/SAP) desired

• Responsible, independent, exact as well as team- and customer-oriented working methods

• High physical and psychological resilience
• Positive personal security test

• Knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English (level B1) desired

Your commitment to security and freedom The Command Operations (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and operations of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes the Luftwaffe, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police. Around 40% of the approximately 2,500 employees are civil employees – from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.
