- You are responsible and develop the public service, the museum reception and the museum shop further and thus significantly shape the public perception of the house.
- They represent the museum both internally and externally: opposite the university management, the MNF and its institutes, other faculties of the University of Zurich, as well as collections, cooperation partners, politics and authorities.
- With a secure appearance, you strengthen national and international networks and effectively position the NMZ in the public and professional world. Requirements:
- Exposed management experience, ideally in a cultural institution
- Experience in the (further) development of a modern museum
- Completed university studies (at least master's degree, preferably in the natural sciences) Business-based education or training
- Knowledge of the structures and processes of a university are beneficial
- Integrative, motivating and resilient management person with enthusiasm for nature and natural sciences
- Strategic management competence, entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and team orientation
