- Together with internal teams and external partners, you ensure the stable, secure and high-performance operation of our Linux-based system and platform landscape
- You operate, monitor and continuously develop our infrastructure and platform services
Main responsibilities
- Together with internal teams and external partners, you ensure the stable, secure and high-performance operation of our Linux-based system and platform landscape
- You operate, monitor and continuously develop our infrastructure and platform services
- You actively work on company-wide infrastructure and network projects and contribute your experience to design, implementation and operation
- You take responsibility in incident, problem and change management and independently analyze disruptions down to the system and network level
Application process
- You advises those responsible for applications in the areas of Linux systems, network infrastructure, platform architecture and security and acts as a technical interface to development and operation
- You maintain our system and network technical documentation and ensure its timeliness and availability Requirements
- You have completed IT training or several years of professional experience as a Linux system engineer / administrator
- Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of the operation of Oracle Linux systems
- You have a strong network affinity and know your way around the following topics: LAN / WLAN, switching & routing, Cisco networks, authentication and access mechanisms (e.g. 802.1X)
- You have experience in dealing with container and platform environments (RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Podman)
- You automate recurring tasks with Ansible and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python)
- You have experience with virtualization technologies, backup and storage solutions (e.g. b. Veeam)
