Are you looking forward to being self-employed in vehicles from Mercedes Sprinter to trucks on the roads of Switzerland and do you already feel comfortable in traffic today? Then you are exactly right with us! As part of your training, you will get an exciting insight into the varied tasks of the transport sector, you will learn to take responsibility, make decisions and cultivate customer and team contact with your team skills. With us you become a talent in and around our vehicles and get the opportunity to gain your first experience in freight transport and to serve special places and objects of the Swiss Army. You can make this contribution

• Plan, prepare and carry out transports in the Mittelland, so that all army material from the teddy bear to the youth and sports material to the ammunition is in the right place at the right time

• Minor repairs, maintenance and cleaning of trucks and trailers

• Loading, unloading and returning the goods by means of pallet wagons and forklifts

• control transport documents
• Know and comply with safety regulations

• Acquire the driving licences of categories B, BE, C, CE, C1, C1E and forklifts and take the ADR/SDR exam

Diversity, dynamism, perspectives – teaching professions of the Swiss Army The logistics base of the Swiss Army (LBA) is there for the force. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss army and manages the materials, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss army with its approximately 3'500 employees and 12,000 militia members.
