Tasks

• Overall responsibility for customer and family support in the Bern West living space with 5 locations and management of 4 employees
• Advice and support for interested parties, customers: inside, relatives, social services and referees to our diverse range of services (housing with and without services, comprehensive care, specialized dementia care and day care)
• Coordination of the entire admission process along the customer journey – from registration to entry and exit
• Conduct of visits and consultations for customers:inside and relatives in the living space
• Competent support for financing, social security and administrative matters
• Promotion of cross-cutting and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Participation in the management of Bern West, strategic and operational projects and active participation in change processes

Requirements

• Higher education in social work, care, case management or equivalent qualification
• Leadership experience
• High communicative and empathetic abilities
• Experience in counselling older people and their relatives
• In-depth knowledge in health and social care, especially in long-term care
• Organizational and coordination talent
• Strategic and business thinking and action
• Safe handling of digital systems
• Teamwork and flexibility
