We are looking for motivated, good secondary or very good real students with very good knowledge in mathematics and physics. In addition, interest in technical connections, craftsmanship, good spatial imagination and an exact and independent working method are required. Endurance, perseverance, patience and reliability are equally important characteristics. The profession requires that you are free of allergies to metals, oils and fats.

- Tasks
During the first half of teaching, a broad foundation of knowledge and skills is laid in basic training. In the workshop, working techniques such as manual and mechanical production technology, assembly technology, joining technology, maintenance and subject-specific work safety are taught. In the extended basic training, the various working techniques are deepened by exemplary learning on productive orders and projects. The focus training takes place in the second half of the teaching. In this training phase, the operation and programming of CNC-controlled machine tools is taught. A design internship provides an insight into design and CAD technology.
