Port34 AG, Motivational Semester SEMO/MOVE Seeland & Jura bernois

The bilingual bridging offer of Port34 AG is a professional integration program for young people aged 15 to 24 who are looking for an apprenticeship. In the SEMO/MOVE Standard, participants are individually accompanied and supported to find an apprenticeship and prepare for basic vocational training. In the SEMO/MOVE Plus, participants receive targeted advice and support to acquire the key competencies for basic workability and prepare for the job market. Entry into SEMO is possible at any time.

Tasks

You teach as a teacher to a group of a maximum of 15 participants; you accompany and promote these participants in acquiring competencies and action strategies to cope with future everyday requirements. You offer the participants a competence-oriented, individually tailored teaching in the subjects of mathematics, German and French as a foreign language, general education and sports (the latter in team teaching). You support and accompany the participants in their application activities (4 lessons per week in collaboration with a coach) and convey the necessary competencies in the subject of personality development. You work interdisciplinarily closely with the other teachers and the coaches of the participating young people.

Requirements

• You have a teaching certificate for secondary level 1 and professional experience.
• You have pleasure and interest in accompanying the participants individually in close interdisciplinary cooperation towards an apprenticeship.
• You are independent, proactive, flexible and have good assertiveness.
• You have the ability to act in a complex, multicultural environment.
