Portrait The Lerchenbühl Foundation accompanies and supports children, adolescents and young adults with a comprehensive coaching, education and living offer when they start into the future. The aim is to achieve the most self-determined, sustainable way of living and working. Our work focuses on school, professional and social inclusion. We are a socio-economic, politically and confessionally neutral foundation based in Burgdorf.

For our sub- and intermediate level, we are looking for an engaged and motivated personality with a heart for children as soon as possible or by agreement.

Tasks

As a teacher, you design and provide action-oriented lessons in accordance with the specifications of the special school concept. You plan and design your lessons in a technically sound manner and are oriented towards the individual needs and the support goals of the children and young people. Together with the class teachers, you create the development plans of the students and share responsibility for their implementation in everyday school life. If necessary, you write specialist reports and assessments and contribute your observations and your expertise to the funding planning. They are in regular exchange with parents, specialists and social pedagogy caregivers and work closely with the interdisciplinary team. In addition, you actively participate in school projects, camps, internal further education and other events of the institution and thus contribute to a lively and appreciative school culture.

Requirements

You have a diploma as a teacher, social pedagogue: with teaching experience or a comparable education. Ideally, you will have experience in teaching children and adolescents with special educational and support needs. They enjoy working in a team, appreciate the interdisciplinary exchange and understand how to respond to different learning requirements. They are a committed, reflective and flexible personality who is happy to accompany and promote children and young people in their development. Self-responsible work is a matter of course for you and you have the willingness to actively participate in the further development of the school offer.
