Portrait At the Special Primary School Bern (BVS), children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 years with a cognitive impairment, in the autism spectrum or with a further impairment are taught and supported according to curative pedagogical principles. Currently, around 100 children and young people are taught in 15 classes. Twelve classes will be conducted in the school building at the Provincial Street 80, two classes at Tscharnerstrasse 10 (Eigerplatz) and one class at our new location in the Burgundy settlement in Bümpliz.
At the main location in Bümpliz we are looking for one
Tasks
- Teaching in a sub-level class with 7 students during the given time
- Responsibility for the methodological and didactic design of teaching and the corresponding preparation and follow-up
- Close cooperation with the class teacher, an intern and class assistants
- Creating the funding planning and objectives for the individual students
- Align the learning content according to curriculum 21 with individualized learning objectives
- Participation in the interdisciplinary sessions, parental work and parent evenings as well as other school events
- Lesson days: Monday and Wednesday morning fix, choice between Tuesday or Thursday
- Take over half of the class teaching function optionally
Requirements
- Master of Arts in School curative pedagogy or clinical curative pedagogy (or comparable training)
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Communicative personality with high social competence
- High flexibility and load capacity
- Self-employed work
- Joy of interdisciplinary cooperation
