Portrait Riggisberg is a place with about 3100 inhabitants, beautifully located at the end of the Langnberg. The school can be reached by car or public transport in about 30 minutes from Bern or Thun. Parking is freely available. Our school comprises 20 classes, divided between kindergarten up to secondary level I. The classes of primary level are mixed in age and conducted in two stages. At intermediate level, there are two 3rd/4th classes in the current school year, a 4th/5. Class and two 5th/6th classes. Cycle 1 is taught at a separate location, the sub-level centre at the Abeggstrasse. The Riggisberg School also runs a basic and intermediate level (3-6th class) at the Rümligen site.

Tasks

• From 12.10.2026 you will teach as a class teacher at our kindergarten A 100% (27 lessons).
• Monday to Friday morning (4.6 readings each), as well as Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (2 readings each)

This position is limited until the end of the semester. Tandem applications are also very welcome.

Requirements

You have a teaching diploma for the primary level or are in training, experience is of great advantage

With your dedicated, loyal and authentic nature, you can inspire students to learn. In addition to your expertise, you also convince as a leader. They assess the students transparently, support-oriented and appreciatively. They work together with the two other kindergarten teachers and exchange regularly.
