It prepares the budget with the financial plan and the bill of the canton on behalf of the government council.

- Preparation and maintenance of documentation of legal bases, the systematic system, processes and practice of awarding and managing state contributions in the canton of Zurich
- Further development of methodology, processes and instruments for the standardization of the award and management of state contributions
- Legal counsel with experience in business process management or business process manager with legal experience
- Degree at the level of a master in business/economics with additional knowledge in government and administrative law or state/legal sciences with additional economic knowledge or equivalent training
Main responsibilities
- Preparation and maintenance of documentation of legal bases, the systematic system, processes and practice of awarding and managing state contributions in the canton of Zurich
- Further development of methodology, processes and instruments for the standardization of the award and management of state contributions
- Development of basic principles for systematic state contribution controlling
- Training and consulting of administrative units on state contributions and cooperation in projects
- Creation and maintenance of an exchange platform on state contributions
Key requirements
- Legal counsel with experience in business process management or business process manager with legal experience
- Degree at the level of a master in business/economics with additional knowledge in government and administrative law or state/legal sciences with additional economic knowledge or equivalent training
- Training and/or experience in the analysis and design of business processes (Business Process Analysis/Engineering/Management)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the field
- Analytic, conceptual, self-responsible and quality-conscious working methods with a reliable and thoughtful personality
- Holistic view of the role of administration in the interaction of politics, business and society

Application process
- The department is responsible for the continuously digital application, examination and payment process implemented for the hardness case program, which is used and extended for a large number of further case processing processes in the canton of Zurich as part of the digitalization of the administration.
- Building on the practical experience gained in implementing the hardship case program, the financial management was commissioned to develop a uniform practice on inspection processes and on the award and management of state contributions in the canton of Zurich.
- We'll be looking for backup by now or by arrangement.
- Further development of methodology, processes and instruments for digital application processes incl.
- Advising the administrative units and working in selected external projects
