Role overview
Carry out and support complex procurement projects in the area of software and IT services with a focus on software, license and contract management with Microsoft independently and advise those in the federal administration on public procurement issues as well as on commercial software and licensing issues.
Analyze and further develop the portfolio strategy while monitoring the market, managing and supporting existing framework contracts and condition agreements as well as assessing licensing, procurement law and commercial issues in the Microsoft environment and with internal and external bodies Coordinate partners Negotiations with suppliers in the context of procurement, contract adjustments and claims, taking into account legal, commercial and licensing aspects Analyze and bundle the needs of the federal administration and develop economical and sustainable procurement solutions as well as coordinate cooperation with manufacturers and sales partners Create decision-making bases, reports and evaluations for internal stakeholders and further develop processes and methods in software, license and contract management

- university degree in business administration, Business informatics, computer science or comparable training as well as several years of experience in commercial contract and license management or in public procurement

- experience with contract, license and sales models of international software manufacturers, especially Microsoft (e.g.
- Volume licensing programs in the enterprise environment)
- Experience in working with software manufacturers, resellers or IT service providers
- Negotiation skills as well as a structured, analytical way of working as well as enjoyment of complex issues between procurement, legal services, supplier and customer advice
- Good active knowledge of at least one second official language
