University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
The Bern Center for Eating Disorders (BZE) of the University Hospital for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, UPZ, is looking for an intern (300 working hours or 6-8 hours per week, duration about 1 year) to participate in a study with inpatients with anorexia.
Their tasks
- You are currently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Bern and are interested in empirical research in the field of anorexia
- You are familiar with computer programs (Word and Excel) and are looking for a way to gain professional experience in project-oriented clinical work
- Prior knowledge in psychological diagnosis (e.g. conducting semi-structured interviews) is advantageous.
- An active, conscientious and committed participation in an interdisciplinary team (medicine, psychology, care) and the willingness to accompany measurements in the early morning in Moosseedorf is expected

- They are involved in our study WASA, which examines the relationship between weight anxiety and psychological-biophysiological reactions.
- In this function, you support us in psychological diagnosis (data entry & management, clinical measurements before breakfast in the clinic in Moosseedorf and visiting in the families)
- In addition, you will get a comprehensive content and organizational insight into the multimodal, professional work at the Bern Center for Eating Disorders (BZE)
