Portrait We are the foundation for blind and visually impaired children and adolescents Zollikofen - a private, party-political and confessionally neutral organization with a charitable purpose. Our task is to support and accompany people with special needs from birth to young adulthood. We direct additional offers to parents, teachers of public schools and special elementary schools as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the promotion and support of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple impairment or from the autism spectrum.
Tasks
As a class teacher, you work together with a motivated team that you lead pedagogically. They plan the level-appropriate teaching according to curriculum 21 and carry it out together with the team. As a basis, you create individual education and support plans. They take care of nursing and medical measures as well as caregivers and coordination work. A constructive contact with the guardians and external specialist departments is important to you and you maintain this proactively. They also produce reports, participate in meetings and engage in working groups. In addition, you organize school events such as country school week or project weeks and carry them out with the team.
Requirements
They have school experience in accompanying children and adolescents with multiple disabilities and ideally also with children on the autism spectrum. You adapt your communication individually to the possibilities of the students. Ideally, you have a diploma in curative curative education or are studying for it. A primary teaching patent, a Bachelor in Primary Education or a Bachelor in Special and Social Education is also a good prerequisite for the job. With your constructive nature and positive attitude, you contribute a lot to a good team climate.
