Portrait After more than 40 years at our school, our esteemed colleague goes into a well-deserved retirement. Therefore, we are looking for a new class teacher for our 1st / 2nd class.

We are a medium-sized school with around 300 children and about 40 teachers. Particularly important to us are:

Tasks

You take on the important role as a class teacher and teach in the class subjects from the subject areas of cycle 1. We set your desired amount together. Like all classes, this class is heterogeneous and - as usual at our school - mixed with age. The regular professional exchange with our school curative teacher is a central part of the cooperation.

Requirements

We want an empathetic, clear, patient and motivated teacher who appreciates working in mixed classes. You already have a teaching diploma and can therefore competently plan and carry out your lessons. Close cooperation in the team and relationship building with the children are important to you.

So if you are fresh out of training or want to return to work after a long break, we can provide you with an experienced mentor.

We are also proud of the close cooperation with our community, which actively supports us. A school social worker is on site in the amount of 40% and we are supported by a civil service provider. Furthermore, we can use our indoor pool for the sporting balance over noon – if the Bielersee, where our beautiful community is located, is just too cold for swimming. In addition, we motivate each other to exercise more in everyday life, for example by participating in Bike to Work. Also our drivers: inside are not too short: We offer free parking.
