Portrait The Education Centre Emme (bzemme) is a cantonal educational institution with locations in Burgdorf, Langnau i.E. and Oeschberg near Koppigen. Our offer includes bridge offers, basic school education, an apprenticeship workshop and higher vocational training courses. Around 250 teachers and employees are jointly committed to strong vocational training in the region. The bridge offers department supports the vocational preparation of young people with suitable offers and accompanies their professional integration. For lessons at BVS+ (Location Langnau) we are looking for
Tasks
In team teaching, you teach 14 – 16 young people during a school year in the subjects of experiential pedagogy, mathematics, language, general education and career choice. In addition to expertise, achieving and promoting social skills and self-efficacy is the central goal of a BVS Plus year. They supervise and accompany young people in their career choices, support and help in the search for trial apprenticeship companies and in writing applications. As a reference person, they are the contact point for some young people in school, professional, but also private problems. They are in contact with the guardians and specialists (CMBB, social welfare office...), inform and advise.
Requirements
They are flexible, patient, resilient and able to lead and promote young people in difficult situations in a benevolent, empathetic but also consistent manner. They like to work in a team (regular and close exchange, team teaching) and have an open attitude. In addition to your education, you may also have experience from the private sector and / or have additional training in the areas of curative pedagogy, experiential pedagogy, social pedagogy or consulting.
