Portrait The Wirtschaftsschule Thun (WST) is the leading vocational and continuing education centre in the Bernese Oberland. At our locations in Thun and Gstaad, we train around 850 apprentices in five basic education professions (KV, retail trade, ICT) and two vocational training courses (BM 2). In addition, we accompany 500 participants in higher vocational training in more than 80 courses in the field of business. Our team of around 80 employees and three learners (KV/Mediamatik) stands for education at the highest level.

Tasks

The field of activity of this newly created key position extends over seven schools (two high schools and five vocational schools) in the Bernese Oberland.

You can make this contribution

• Actively participate in the establishment and implementation of the ISMS at seven schools.
• Manage, review and optimize the ISMS in schools sustainably.
• Establish a lived ISDS awareness among school management, teachers and administration and

provide step-by-step advice on concepts and risk analyses.

• Systematically collect and assess ISDS risks and use them to develop cross-school standards

and implement and support schools in coping.

• representing school interests vis-à-vis the Office as well as other school cooperations and

and the school management report.

Requirements

This is what they bring with them.

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or in Education, computer scientist with relevant

Professional experience and subject-specific further education (e.g. CAS, CISA, CRISK).

• Sound practice in the ISDS environment (ideally Sek II or cantonal data protection) as well as in development

and operation of ISMS.

• High personal responsibility and structured and solution-oriented working method, by seven

Managing school contexts in parallel.

• Strong and conflicting personality with high empathy to meet complex requirements

to mediate in a step-by-step manner and to quickly grasp connections.

• German at C2 level, willingness to travel Berner Oberland.
