In the private clinic Meiringen people with all forms of psychological suffering find admission, treatment and care. The third-largest psychiatric clinic in the Canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for the inpatient primary psychiatric care of the eastern Bernese upper country. At the Psychiatric Psychotherapeutic Centre for Young Adults in Thun (PZJE), we treat young adults aged 16 to 25 years with diseases from the entire spectrum of psychiatry with extensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The center comprises 30 stationary beds, has a 24-hour emergency admission requirement and is primarily kept open and protected on a station if necessary. The treatment is based on the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic and nursing knowledge.
