Portrait Welcome to Aarwangen!

The school Aarwangen is located in the Oberaargau, in the agglomeration of Langenthal. Around 540 children are taught in 27 age-mixed classes. As an integrative school, we attach importance to individual promotion, sustainable relationships and good cooperation.

A dedicated school management team, motivated class teams and a well-established team of specialised teachers shape our everyday school life. On the Sonnhalde campus there are four school buildings, two kindergartens, the day school, sports facilities and a swimming pool with teaching swimming pools. Three other kindergartens are located in the village.

Tasks

They undertake the integrative promotion in four classes: two kindergarten classes, a 1st/2nd class and a 3rd/4th class. Together with the class teams, you plan and design the promotion and implement it in accordance with the needs of the children in the class association, in small groups or in individual setting.

In addition to regular IF lessons, you also accompany and support students with increased special education needs. You work closely with the relevant teachers, specialist departments and other stakeholders.

You contribute your healing pedagogical expertise, recognize strengths and resources and support the children on their individual learning and development path.

The course is flexible between 8 and 28 lessons. A division among several persons is possible. An increase in the workload is also possible by agreement.

Requirements

• You have an education as a teacher and a master in curative education or are on the way there.
• They enjoy working with children with different learning and developmental needs and bring healing pedagogical expertise.
• They have knowledge of diagnostics, funding planning and assessment.
• You are a dedicated, reflective and team-oriented personality and appreciate working with different professionals.
• They communicate clearly, appreciatively and solution-oriented.
