Data processing

• Verification and processing of data according to international standards (OECD DAC Statistical System, International Transparency Initiative IATI, etc.)
• Support for the evaluation of statistical data for internal and external publications, including for the annual report of the SDC and for the section Facts and Figures of the SDC website
• Support for the processing of internal structured and unstructured data
• Support the automation of internal data through transparent and reproducible coding, including the testing of AI solutions (e.g. AI pilot projects and identification of opportunities for ML applications, from analysis to implementation). Communication
• Development of data visualizations and visual products for internal and external communication;
• Support for the development of dashboards and data applications (e.g. Shiny, Power BI). Coordination
• support for internal data coordination within the SDC;
• support for the creation of metadata catalogues and data management within the SDC;
• Support for internal capacity building in the areas of data literacy, data quality and application of tools
• Completed studies at a university or university of applied sciences (Bachelor or Master)
• Proven experience in data processing and analysis
• Good knowledge of programming languages (R / Python), experience with databases are advantageous
• In-depth knowledge in the field of machine learning, ideally with first experiences from own ML projects
• Flair for clear and effective communication
• High professional commitment, careful working methods, resilience and flexibility, strong teamwork
• Interest in international relations and development issues
• Very good knowledge of an official language
• Good knowledge in another official language and in English
• Excellent Office and especially Excel skills
