The new gastronomy in the Liebefeld Business Park opens its doors in spring 2024. Various companies with a total of up to 850 employees and a high school of up to 1,600 people are rented in the building complex. In the EG lounge with various 24H vending machines for snacks, drinks, fresh produce and coffee, business and school meet in a pleasant ambience. The upstairs self-service restaurant, where up to 350 guests are pampered daily, offers the right fit for every taste, be it a snack, one of the menus or something from the buffet. In addition, various internal and external caterings, aperitifs and special events are carried out. True to the ZFV philosophy, freshly cooked locally with regional, seasonal and ecologically produced and fair trade food. As of December 1, 2026 or by agreement, you will assume responsibility for several catering companies in the Berne region, develop them successfully together with the management, ensure an outstanding guest experience, lead and inspire teams and combine operational strength with entrepreneurial thinking and strategic development. Your area of activity:

• You run several restaurants in the Berne region with a focus on quality, guest experience and economic success
• You coach and develop our operations management and teams and create a motivating leadership culture
• You maintain existing customer relationships, are the central contact person for our clients: inside and supports in the acquisition of new mandates
• You analyze business key figures, manage budgets and derive targeted optimization measures
• You will continuously develop our gastronomic concepts, offers and services and promote innovations
• You ensure smooth operation and compliance with our quality, hygiene and safety standards
• You plan and accompany catering, events and special events
• You work together with internal specialist departments across departments and actively promote strategic and digital development projects
• You promote sustainable action and consistently focus our corporate values on your strengths in everyday management:
• Completed training in the catering or hotel industry (EFZ), ideally supplemented by a hotel school or comparable further education
• Several years of professional and management experience in the catering or hotel industry, ideally with responsibility for several companies
• Experience in community or system gastronomy is beneficial
• Strong business understanding and experience in analyzing and controlling key figures and budgets
• Secure handling of Microsoft 365, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint and teams
• Experience with digital planning tools and project management software
• Knowledge of Asana, TCPOS or E3 are beneficial
• stylish knowledge of German in words and writing
• French and English skills are a plus
