Portrait The school Sutz-Lattrigen Mörigen is a manageable and family school in the Bernese Seeland on the right bank of Lake Biel. Around 170 children from kindergarten to 6. Class of about 30 dedicated teachers at the two school locations Sutz-Lattrigen and Mörigen teaches and accompanies in three-level multi-year classes.

Our school is characterized by a motivated, well-coordinated team, short decision-making paths and an appreciative cooperation. Together we create a learning-enhancing environment and want to be a “school for all” in which children and employees can feel at home and develop equally.

As a result of retirement of the previous job owner, we are looking for 1. August 2027 a committed and leadership-strong personality as school management (pensum incl. Share IBEM and bVSA, approximately 70 %. There is also the possibility to increase the workload with lessons.

Tasks

They take over the pedagogical, personnel and organizational management of our school, promote an open and appreciative school culture and shape an innovative quality and school development together with the tax group and the team. You work closely with the Education Commission, the municipal administration and other stakeholders.

• Leadership, guidance and promotion of teachers
• Ensuring and developing the quality of schooling and teaching
• Planning, organisation and coordination of school operations
• Planning and responsibility of the school budget
• Confident cooperation with the Education Commission, the municipal administration, the parents, the school management in the upper-level association, school social work and other partners
• They accompany the ongoing development processes in the areas of multi-year classes, new authority and mission statement development and set their own impulses for the school of tomorrow.
• Responsibility for the implementation of cantonal and municipal requirements

Requirements

• Recognised training as head of school or the willingness to undertake this part-time
• Pedagogical training and teaching experience at primary school level
• Enjoy the management, support and development of employees as well as an appreciative cooperation with all participants
• You are a reflected leader with heart, humor and organizational skill and understand how to motivate, accompany and achieve goals together
